Thunderbolts* In Space Meets Mass Effect

War criminal Sariyah Larsen spent three years in the galaxy’s worst prison ship for crimes against the galactic community and the murder of her own squad—crimes she swears she didn’t commit.

When Sariyah is abducted by a ragtag crew of criminals, she finally has the chance to get retribution. They’re hunting the Zarfara, an ancient alien species awakening from eons in cryostasis, and her former team isn’t the first to die by their hands. Now, this team of vagrants is offering her a deal: stop the Zarfara from kidnapping the offspring of a dying race and not only will she get her long-awaited revenge, but she’ll also earn her freedom.

The only way they can survive is by trusting each other. Unfortunately, lawless dregs like them aren’t used to relying on others. Still, they’re making it work. Sariyah is even daring to care about them—even the enticing warrior from across the stars who once hated her.

However, when their sentient ship begins to malfunction, she knows someone aboard is sabotaging the mission. If Sariyah can’t put her growing affections for her outlaw crew aside, she’ll never uncover the saboteur in time.

But on a ship full of criminals, everyone is a suspect.

Publication for this book is scheduled for 2026. There are no preorder links at this time.

"I get it," she said, looking out at the stars. "You have to be careful you don't love people too much. If you do, it's harder to go on without them." He snorted. "I don't think it's possible to love someone too much." "Then clearly, you haven't loved at all," she snapped, the instinct to defend her shattered heart stronger than her desire to open it up to him. A tense silence settled between them, turning the air thick despite the ventilation system working overtime while in the vacuum of space. “Then show me how,” he whispered, his eyes searching hers—like she held some sort of wisdom he sought for his entire life. Something she was certain she didn't have. Regardless, it left her breathless and wishing she had the right words to lessen his burdens. Maybe Sariyah even hoped she was the person he wanted to help bring back some of that light he lost so long ago.
