Eyla Lind lost her mother and her future.

Her relationship with her father is ruined, she’s completely lost in life, and the last tie she has to her family is a dying grandma who lives in a different country. With the news that Nana Ragna is on death’s door, Eyla makes the decision to upend everything she’s ever known to move from California to Vancouver Island and its most mysterious town, Ravarra.

     The place her mom died.

The circumstances of her passing are strange and so is the village settled on the edge of the Pacific. But Eyla didn’t travel all this way to delve into the town’s secrets. Her only concern is figuring out if her mom’s death really was an accident and, if time permits, discovering her Major.

     The town has other plans.

Thr spirit of Ravarra is interfering with her daily life and its odd residents are whispering prophecies into the autumn air. Before the semester even begins, Eyla is wrapped up in a century’s long family rivalry where her own lineage might be the catalyst to breaking the thousand-year-old curse that killed her mom.

She’ll get justice for her mother, even if the curse claims her too.

However, death is looking less appealing the more she gets to know her new roommates. Especially the alluring Caldar Sylvan. He’s only one room over and there’s something about him that makes her feel seen for the first time in her life.

Only problem? Cal might be the origin of the curse itself.
